Bus 47 // Philly series // 2016
Philadelphie, avril 2016. Pendant deux semaines, je prends le bus 47, de l’endroit où j’habite dans le sud de Philly, jusqu’à l’endroit où je travaille dans le nord de Philly. 45 minutes de trajet à travers la ville. Cela devient un projet photo. Je ne connais pas Philly, je n’ai pas le temps d’enquêter ou d’étudier, mais je passe des heures dans ce bus qui traverse la ville du sud au nord, je suis au milieu des gens et je vois la ville changer à travers les vitres, des quartiers riches au quartiers pauvres. Il s’agit du quotidien, de fragments, de détails, de corps, de gestes, d’instants et de reflets…

Philadelphia, april 2016. For two weeks, I take the bus 47, from the place I live in south Philly, to the place I work in north Philly. 45 minutes of a journey through the city. It becomes a photo project. I don’t know Philly, I don’t have time to investigate or study, but I spend hours in that bus, who goes through the city from the south to the north, I’m in the middle of people and I see the city changing through the windows, from rich neiborhoods to poor ones. It’s about the everyday, about fragments, details, bodies, gestures, instants and reflections…
