Beyrouth, juin 2015. Cette ville m’apparaît comme le monde qui vient, la résultante d’un libéralisme ultra radical. Toujours en construction, en chantier, mais déjà si puissante et arrogante dans ce centre-ville. Un effacement du passé, l’apparition d’un nouveau monde fait de tours et d’espaces urbains hyper riches, de personnes mises en esclavage [employés de maison africains ou indonésiens, syriens sur les chantiers…].

Beyrouth, june 2015. This city seems to me like the upcoming world, the result of ultra radical liberalism. Still under construction, in process, but already so powerfull and arrogant in this city centre. An ongoing erasure of the past, the apparition of a new world made of towers and hyper rich city space, of people put into slavery (african or indonesian house workers, syrians in construction sites…).
